A positive step forward through the educational service of Dharmavijaya Foundation.
Financial assistance was provided for three children of Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo, who have obtained university entrance for medical education for the successful continuity of their future education.
This was done at the foundation premises through the following trustee funds of Dharmavijaya Foundation
- Financial assistance of Rs. 30,000 for student A.V.N.T. Arangala from the Sugathadasa Samarasinghe and Nerissa Subhadra Samarasinghe Trust Fund on 29/08/2024. The student’s mother is also present.
- Rs. 31,000 for student Yashodara Kumudu Kaushani from the D.A. Karunasena and U. K. D. Silva Trust Fund on 12/09/2024.
- Rs. 31,000 for student B.V.Umani Devindi from the D.A. Karunasena and U.K.D. Silva Trust Fund on 12/09/2024.
The parents of both these students were also present at Dharmavijaya premises for this purpose.
The Honorable Patron of Dharmavijaya Foundation, Tripitakacharya Sastrapati, Rajakeeya Panditha Hakmana Sumanasiri Thero presented the monetary supports. The Honorary President of Dharmavijaya Foundation, the Honorary Secretary, the Honorary Treasurer and the members of the Board of Trustees also participated in that great task. Mr. Senaka Samarasinghe, a life member of Dharmavijaya Foundation, who is residing in Canada, also joined the occasion through Zoom technology demonstrating his great devotion.
