Another unique social care from Dharmavijaya Foundation.
A young athlete named Aruna Darshana, who started his sporting career from the rural village of Serunuwara in Trincomalee was qualified for the semi-finals of the men’s 400m running event at the Olympic – 2024 held in Paris bringing honor to Sri Lanka in the international arena.
Adding a special appreciation to that proud effort, a financial support of Rs: 50.000/= was donated by Mr. Ranjith Zoysa, a resident of Australia and a life member of Dharmavijaya Foundation, to this young athlete on behalf of Dharmavijaya Foundation with the ultimate intention of raising him to a higher level in the future Olympic events. The donation was handed over to him on behalf of the Dharmavijaya Foundation by the Honorary President of the Mahindapura Samagi Manusath Dharmavijaya Society, Reverend Nilapola Dhammasena Thero.
