Donations from Dharma Vijaya Foundation for pregnant mothers in Mahindapura and Serunuwara in Trincomalee District.
Considering the request made by the Dharmavijaya Foundation to meet the nutritional needs for low-income pregnant mothers in the Trincomalee district, a meeting was held under the patronage of Ven. Aluthoya Saddhatissa Thero, President of the Dharma Vijaya Kandra Center, Trincomalee, and Incumbent of the Sri Bodhirajarama Temple, China Bay, on 18th January 2025 Sand at this occasion, financial donations were made to 7 families. Including 5 pregnant mothers who are members of the Mahindapura Samagi Manusath Dharmavijaya Society and Somapura Janahita Bodu Seva Darshana Dharmavijaya society in Trincomalee and 2 mothers who have recently given birth to children were given Rs. 15,000/- each for a total value of Rs. 105,000/-. The funds for these donations were provided from the Percy Chandrasoma and Chandra Jayakody Memorial Trust Fund established by the Dharmavijaya Foundation. Photos of the occasion are shown below.
