A ceremony to commemorate the ninetieth (90) birth anniversary of the Venerable Nanasiha Thero of Sri Vajiraramaya, the honorable Patron of the Dharmavijaya Foundation.
The Dharmavijaya Foundation is one of the organizations that has helped to spread the universal concept of justice among the people based on the notion of “The country cannot be developed without the development of people. Let us develop the country by developing the people” as stated by Most Venerable Madihe Pangnasiha Maha Thero. The following are some of the highlights of the Atavisi Sambuddha Pooja held at the Sri Vajiraramaya Viharaya in Bambalapitiya on the evening of 18th February 2025 during the commemoration ceramony of the ninetieth (90) birthday of Venerable Sri Vajiraramaye Nanasiha Thero. Our Thero was a founder member of Dharmavijaya Foundation that was commenced 45 years ago and held the position of President for 31 years and entered the monkhood in 2015. During the ceremony, five-books on Buddhism in Practice written by the Thero were released. The Dhamma Sermon were conducted by the Venerable Koswatte Ariyawimala Thero. The Board of Trustees wishes that the Thero may be blessed with a healthy and centenary life with the blessings of the Triple Gem.
