40th anniversary of Mihindu Dharmavijaya Society, Kobbewala, Gampola and providing necessary material assistance to pregnant mothers and school children.

The District Kendriya Center Conference for the Reorganizing of Dharmavijaya Societies in Gampola, Kandy and the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Mahindu Dharmavijaya Society, Kobbewala, Gampola were held in two phases on 22^nd February 2025 at the Sri Piyadarshanarama Viharaya, Kobbewala, Gampola which is the Kendriya center of the Dharmavijaya Societies in Kandy distrct. On that occasion, the Honorable President of the Dharmavijaya Society, Venerable Thero, delivered a detailed lecture on the social and religious services carried out by the Kendriya center Society. The Secretary of the Dharmavijaya the Kendriya center presented the annual report. Several singing and dancing items performed by students of the Dhamma School showcasing their talents made the event more colorful. A gift pack containing school equipment along with a school bag was donated to 50 Dhamma school children by the Dharmavijaya Foundation. In addition, 15 gift packs containing necessary materials were also donated to 15 low-income pregnant mothers in the area. The Honorable Chairman, Honorable Secretary, Coordinator, members of the Board of Trustees and staff participated on behalf of the Dharmavijaya Foundation. The monks and the participants were educated on the Dharmavijaya Foundation and its role and the service that can be provided to the villages through the Dharmavijaya Society.
